You must have firmly accepted your offer to study here before you can apply for student accommodation.
You need the code we email you to apply for Parker House and get your discounted rent. Check your emails regularly as they are being sent out between now and the end of March.
We have hundreds of rooms, all within easy walking distance of the Abertay campus. Please book as soon as you receive the email to avoid disappointment.
Have you firmly accepted your conditional or unconditional offer via UCAS?
Are you going to be a full-time first year student?
Have you received an email from us about accommodation bookings being open?
If so, you are ready to apply for your new room.
If you are a person with disabilities, talk to the Advisory Team before you apply. You can find more information in the Personal Requirements FAQs.
Accept Abertay as your first choice in UCAS (conditional/unconditional).
You’ll receive an email with a special booking code.
Choose your room type.
Register/login to the website.
Book your room.
You'll pay £100 deposit*, which secures your booking. This comes off your first month’s rent. (You have 72 hours to complete this step.)
Fill in the details of a guarantor. (This is a person who agrees to pay the rent if you don’t, such as a parent or a close relative.)
All done? Your new room is booked. See you in September!
*If you don’t meet the conditions of your offer in August, or your visa is refused, the £100 will be refunded.
Your first month's rent payment needs to be paid in full before you can move in. Your first month's rent is due on 1 August, and if you don't meet the conditions of your offer, you will be fully refunded.
There are other halls here you can apply to. You need to contact them directly to book, and we currently have no special agreements or rent discounts with them.
And don't forget you can add yourself to the Parker House waiting list as rooms may become free later on. Email advisory@abertay.ac.uk and put 'Accommodation - Parker House waiting list' as the email title.
